Washington County Hospital is a not-for-profit, critical access county hospital established to support a health delivery system dedicated to serving the health care needs for the people of Washington County and surrounding areas. Washington County hospital is governed by a 5 member Board of Directors: Jennifer Dague, Jim Kier, Ted Lillie, Ewald Ohlde, and Jody Ouelette. WCH has a physician’s clinic staffed by Dr. David Hodgson, Dr. Susan Thompson, and ARNP Annette Helms. The Hospital includes 25 acute care beds and offers many services. Since its opening in 1952, the hospital has provided quality healthcare by remaining focused on the needs of the patient. WCH has benefited from the support received through a large, active foundation and community as well as its highly regarded auxiliary, Hearts N’ Things. WCH offers a comprehensive slate of services including but not limited to: Electrocardiogram (EKG), Ultrasound, CT and MRI, Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Echocardiographs, Doppler’s, Non-invasive Vascular Testing, Outreach Physician Clinics, Cardiac Rehab, Laparoscopic Procedures, Surgical Procedures, Audiology, Gynecology, Urology, Podiatry, Hospital/Clinic, 24 Hour Emergency Room, Acute Care and Observation, Respite Care, Intermediate Care Swing Bed, Laboratory, Radiology, Blood Bank, Lifeline, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Healthwise 55 Lunch Bunch, Orthopedist, Sonograms, a fitness & wellness center, and Obstetrics (including delivery).
